“For we have heard how the LORD made a dry path for you through the Red Sea when you left Egypt. And we know what you did to Sihon and Og, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan River, whose people you completely destroyed. No wonder our hearts have melted in fear! No one has the courage to fight after hearing such things. For the LORD your God is the supreme God of the heavens above and the earth below.”

This is a continuation of what Rahab said to the 2 spies Joshua sent in after wandering in the wilderness for 40 years. Her words tell the story of how the people feared the Israelites. Yet, the Israelites let what they saw wipe out what God has said – go in and take the land for I am with you. God wasn’t sending them in alone. He was going to fight for them. Their imagination triggered by fear kept them from doing what God said. Don’t allow your imagination to go down the wrong path. Imagine Abba Father taking care of you and your situation because that’s what He wants to do. His intention for you is always good, but you have to believe it!
