Let God Be Strong In You

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

— 2 Corinthians 12:9

None of us like to think of ourselves as being weak. Weakness makes us feel helpless and that is not a good feeling. Maybe you said or have heard a child say, “I do it myself!!” That’s true independence! Even as an adult you think, I don’t need help I’ll figure it out myself. And many times you do. However, you are missing an opportunity to move in His strength. Abba Father says when you yield to Me, I will not only do the impossible but the improbable – more than you can think or imagine.

Instead of trying to work it out yourself, let Jesus’ strength make you strong. It’s really not up to you or on you. In fact, doing it yourself separates you from Him. HIS STRENGTH is made PERFECT in YOUR WEAKNESS – in your weakness – in your weakness! The Creator’s, the great I AM’s way is always better. It’s scary to your flesh but being independent is saying “I don’t need you”. You do need Him so let Him be strong in you! When He is your strength, it shows in your face and in your confidence because you have peace.
