What kind of unthinkable love is this! When someone disappoints us or does us wrong or ignores us or slanders us, what is our reaction? Our flesh responds with hurt, withdrawal, and accusation. Look at the Father’s response to us. Even though everything around us falls apart and we fail, mess up or react wrong, He does not make us stand in the corner or reprimand us or even wait until we say we are sorry to reach out to us. No, He is not mad at you. He reaches out to cover you with LOVE and pick you up. Accepting that love is what changes you and me.
