“And God blessed them in his love…”

The first thing God did after creating mankind was to bless them. The Hebrew word for bless is “barak” which means to kneel down, to adore, to congratulate, to praise. The great I AM created humans so He could bless – stoop down and have a relationship with them because that is what LOVE does and He is Love and Goodness. God created the Garden of Eden – a place of beauty, peace, joy, and happiness. He placed man and woman in it to enjoy life. Here we see the Father’s heart for those He created. He wanted mankind to trust Him for their every need because then He could bless them according to His abundance.
It was and is His joy and desire to fulfill not only our needs but our desires. God is not egotistical in wanting us to depend on Him. Rather, dependence on Him opens the door for us to live in His blessings. Abba Father longs to bless mankind more than we can think or imagine but He will not force one to choose Him. He loves you too much!
