Study of the Word is good, but if we become the best at knowing scriptures, having a library of knowledge in our head and yet it has no effect on our lives, study is worthless. When we make the flesh feel good without allowing change to come in our lives, it fuels pride, argument, division and judgment. The truths we read and study are there to show us who God is, who we are and to bring about change in our thinking which changes our actions. Abba wants the Word to become alive and active in our lives. He knows us and has given us truth so we will walk and live in it, not through effort, but through heart revelation. He is saying, I’m for you and I’m cheering you on to be the one I created you to be!
