Safety in Father’s Presence

“You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.”

— Psalms 119:114

I heard a story of a little girl who loved to play hiding seek. Her mother asked her how she felt when she found a good hiding place. Her reply was, “I feel secure, safe and happy.”

That’s the way Abba Father wants you to feel when you imagine being in Him and He in you. Picture big protective arms wrapping around you, protecting you. He is not only with you, but lives in you by His Holy Spirit. Pondering and picturing that brings peace. God is not moody and never changes. He is LOVE and delights in being your happy place of safety – always.
