Christians suffer from great lack and have huge needs. Even though this may be the case, we don’t receive from Jesus because of our needs. Instead, we receive because of God’s abundance. It is from God’s fullness that we receive, not from our lack. Rather than focusing on your own need, how bad it is and how much you want it to be met, meditate on God’s limitless supply, His goodness and how He is able to do so much more than you can ask or imagine. Fix your attention on God and His infinite ability instead of on yourself and your inability. Build your belief in God’s grace and let your faith rise up. You will learn to trust God to supply all your needs according to His glorious riches.
