Psalm 115:12 says, “The Lord has been mindful of us: he will bless us . . .”
Look who is on the mind of God—US. God sits on His throne thinking of how He can bless us. And the Bible says that He never sleeps nor slumbers, so while we’re sleeping, He’s thinking up ways to bless us when we awake. He said, “I’ll bless you coming in, I’ll bless you going out. I’ll bless you in the city, and I’ll bless you in the field . . .” God’s got blessings chasing us down everywhere we go.
If you say, “Well, my life’s not like that. Nothing ever happens to me like that.” It could be because of a lack of understanding of the Father’s love. I encourage you to really think about how much He loves you and allow yourself to experience that great love. If you never read the Bible or went to church again, He would love you the same. We do things to get to know Him and be encouraged, not to be accepted.
