When you read, “by constantly using your faith”, perhaps, you think you have to work up faith for every situation you face. However, faith means believing in something. So what am I to believe in here? You are to believe that as Scripture says, you are loved, passionately, never ending, beyond measure. That is Agape love.
We will never be able to understand the Father’s Agape love for us, not fully, not with our mind. It’s something we accept and live in because God not only told us He loves us, but He showed us the value He places on us by sending Jesus to die, go down to hades and then rise out of that place, by his faith, and go to the Father.
That is endless, extravagant love. Hopefully, you are allowing yourself to experience this love because it will change you. How humbling, yet, intimate and far reaching is the thought that we were created to delight in being the object of God’s love.
Let’s rejoice and celebrate together – yes, delight – in knowing that you and I are the object of God’s love.
Recently, I wanted to wallow in self pity, just a little bit, and as I worked through this feeling and sent it away replacing it with God’s love and acceptance, I felt in my heart, “you are loved; you are always loved. And My love makes you victorious.” I responded, “yes, Lord, your love truly makes me victorious – always. I am so grateful”.
He says to you right now, “You, too, are victorious. My love makes you victorious”. Be encouraged and get excited. Never go by your feelings; stand and live by His Word.
