…The harvest always reveals the seed.
— Galatians 6:7b (Mirror Bible)
There are so many things that we believe build our tomorrow’s and yet we are the ones given the choice of our tomorrows. In that is hope. God is the God of hope. Everyday is a new day; every moment is a fresh moment. He has given us the ability to choose and the ability to start a fresh.
We do eat the fruit of our choices. There is no changing that. Fruit comes as a result of the seed. You will eat the fruit of your choices, but you can change the seeds and thus produce a different crop. So maybe we have not made good choices but every moment is a chance to start over. That is amazing! Our choices build our tomorrows, so you can still change your course. It is possible!
Take some time to look at the harvest of your life and note what it looks like. Are you full of peace and joy consistently? Are you full of worry, anxiety, fear and hopelessness? What does the fruit look like? Begin to see yourself as God sees you, “in Christ”.
Plant seeds of your true identity into your heart and see the fruit of Christ in you.
