“Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria or his mighty army, for there is a power far greater on our side! He may have a great army, but they are merely men. We have the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!”

Hezekiah’s words greatly encouraged the people. When you are facing challenges, who do you let speak into your life? People always have opinions but if they are not saying what God says, their words are not to be valued. Watch what you allow into your thoughts so they don’t take root in your heart. Hezekiah spoke God’s words and the people were encouraged. Who are you listening to? God does not speak fear, discouragement, condemnation or guilt. He says I will strengthen you and take care of you and your situation if you will choose to listen and follow My Words.
