As I am learning more about covenants, I believe that living in the secret place of God is living in His covenant – the covenant He made with Jesus which includes you and me. Abba Father made a covenant with Jesus accepting His blood and He will never break it. When we are saved, we come into that covenant – a covenant of God’s goodness and blessings. Having knowledge and revelation of what that covenant means gives us REST because we KNOW that He is taking care of us – protecting, providing, healing, delivering, etc. I picture myself walking under His Shadow. Nothing can harm me. He is my safe place and He is your safe place. Imagine and meditate on that picture. He has pledged to take care of us. Awesome!
